Well March Break officially started on Friday the 7Th of March. I had to work that day so not much happened. Johnathan ( Angela's) son was with us for the week so he watched Dalton while Tyson and I went to the bank and got a few groceries. No biggie and about 2:30pm I took John to his Mom and headed into work.
Well It started snowing about 10am and it didn't stop until about 10 on Sunday. I think we got about 2 feet in all. I hate snow. Angela and I were pretty much the only people that made it to work all weekend. So that was one heck of a start to the week! I worked all weekend. So did Darin. He worked doing snow removal. Imagine!
So the kids headed off to Scott and Colleen's for the night on Sat night. they had a great time. I headed over on Sunday to get them. Still snowing I might add! I hate winter, I have decided that I am suppose to live some place where it is warm! Needless to say it did finally stop but most of the city streets were down to one lane or less.
So on Monday we didn't do much of anything. Just cleaned up snow and played some wii. Spend the day just being a Mom with her kids and I might add we had lots of fun at it!
Tuesday morning we got up and headed to Chucky Cheese. Quick stop to see Nan and then pick up Grandma and away we went. Lunch was great and again the kids had a ton of fun. It was packed but we managed to stay for about 3 hours and keep BOTH kids busy. I'm not sure how much fun Darin's mom had but she didn't complain. then home to get supper ready.
Wednesday again we just did a little shopping and had lunch out with Nan. Dalton went to his friend Nick's for the day so it was just Ty and I. We got Colleen's birthday present and walked around the mall then headed home.
Thursday. Not much happened that day. Kids just played outside for a while and hung around. tomorrow is a big day so we didn't do much. Today is my friend Ethel's birthday. Love you Ethel Happy Birthday. We are going for lunch tomorrow.
So around that brings us to Friday. We got up and headed into Belleville. Nanny was meeting us at the new McDonald's in Belleville. I do not recommend that place for kids. It is suppose to be new and kid friendly but from what I saw the playroom was smaller, there was not enough parking, and they can only sit about 100 people at a time....That is kid friendly?? I can't say I am running back there again any time soon!
So I dropped the kids off to Mom and I headed to the Winchester Arms for lunch for Ethel's birthday. there were 5 of us all together. Good lunch but it took a while. After that I rushed up to pick Dalton at mom's and then we ran to the movie theater. We went to see Horton hears a who!
Dalton and Ethel and I loved it! We had a great afternoon. I would recommend it for anyone with small kids. And us big kids!
It has been one busy March Break but we had ton's of fun. Today is my brother's 40Th birthday. Hard to believe. Happy Birthday Edward! Have a great day. Love you. We are having supper at the Chinese restaurant on Sunday night. He and his family are heading back from vacation in Florida for their March Break. So we'll meet up with them Sunday.
How did you all spend you March Break? I hope you all had a safe and fun holiday like us!

Happy St Patties Day!!
Happy St Patties Day! Today is the Tyson's godmother's birthday! We are going over to see her later in the day. I worked nights so I am going to have a rest first. We got her a nice plant at Walmart yesterday and Scott got her a link charm bracelet so I think that maybe we will go and see about getting her a link or two.
So off to the mall we went. Dalton picked her out a couple really nice ones. We got her six because they were only $2.00 each and for every one you bought the other was $1.00 so it was a very good deal. Dalton picked out... A shamrock, a I heart you, a happy birthday. Tyson with help picked out... an angel for godmother, a heart, and I can't remember the last one. I know that they did a great job at picking them out anyway.
So we visited for a bit and gave her her gifts. I can't post the picks because Colleen said "NO".. spoilsport. And of course the kiddies had treats. Scott fed them ice cream. As always, he gave Tyson a cone this time but he ate it first leaving the ice cream dripping everywhere! We laughed.
Colleen loved all her presents. I figured. They love our boys and I am very glad the they have decided to take the role of godparents for us. The kids love them just as much!

So once they finished we headed home for supper and for me to head back to bed. hopefully Daddy is done finishing every body's cars that he was repairing today.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLLEEN!!!
In Addition.........
Funny thing happened when we went to get Dalton on Friday... He started yelling at me as soon as I got out of the van. He said..." Mom Nanny tried to ride my bike and fell right off in the flowerbed!" He was laughing and thought that was hilarious. So did my Dad. Dalton was enjoying riding his bike around the paved driveways at Mom's & Cecil's ( her neighbour).
So we visited for a few minutes while the baby slept in the van. Darin was outside watching Dalton ride his bike but it got a little chilly for him so he went back inside.
Dad and Dalton had a busy morning though. Mom has therapy on Fridays so they all went to MacDonald's for breakfast and then Dad and Dalton got a few chores to do at the plaza. Pick up a few groceries etc. Then Nan came and met them again and they did a little more running around before we came to get him. He had a great time and can't wait until holidays in the summer when he gets to go to the trailer too!

Heading out to the Grandparents house......
So Wednesday was nothing to special we went to Kingston for a quick drive before I headed into work at 3pm. The boys were home with Daddy still so all is good yet. Dalton was excited because Darin bought a remote controlled helicopter. They both have wanted one for quite a while but Darin has done a lot of work in the garage and saved it up. Good thing too. He flew it 20 seconds and crashed it, and now they are waiting for new parts. Darin didn't think that it would be that hard to fly. He was surprised!
Thursday we again didn't do much but, Scott came out to see us. See how things are going. Darin got out the bike Dalton got for Easter last year it was such a nice day and guess what! He has grown about 3 inches because he can ride it with no problems this year. I was upset because his Dad let him take it for a spin with no helmet. No biggie but when you work where I work you don't risk head injuries! It's an American chopper bike and he loves it!
I had to work evenings again and Dalton was going to Nan's so he was getting excited! Poppa & Nan are taking him to Montana's for one of his free meals. Mom said he was quite the character and when they waited almost 40 mins and they called them he said "finally". Mom laughed. He had a great time and they spoiled him because they ended up taking him to Dairy queen too! He was so happy!
He got to ride his bike at Nan's because Scott ended up taking him in and took his bike too! And Mommy packed his helmet!
Friday was an even busier day for Dalton and he got a good laugh and to spend some time with Poppa. For now though it's late and I'm heading to bed....

Bowlin..bowlin..bowlin..keep that ball a rollin....
So Tuesday we went bowling. Dalton has been a bugging to go since Nick's ( his buddy) birthday party in December. So we went on Tuesday afternoon. Johnathan and Angela went with us. They are going away tomorrow but Dalton wanted to spend sometime with John before they went.
Johnathan brought two of his many girlfriends with him to. Then they went to the mall for a couple of hours to wander around. We had other errands and stuff so we said "chow". And away we went. ReAnna won the game, Dalton got third! 98. Woo hoo!
I'm not really sure what the rest of the week will bring but I know I work on Wed & Thurs and so it won't be much! All these little activities start to add up after a bit! My kiddies are worth it though they are only small once.
In the pictures you can see that Tyson is so excited for his brother and cheered him on. Then the cheezies got his attention and then bowling wasn't so interesting.
Today is my big brother's 39th birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDWARD!! I hope your enjoying your holiday with your kids.

Monday, monday......
Well we decided that we were going to take the boys and do something today. It was a beautiful day and they are going stirrrr crazy! So we had a mental melt and took them to Toronto shopping and to Chucky Cheese! We conned the neighbours into coming for the fun. We all had a really great day. Spent too much money and drank too much coffee but had a great day none the less!
The pizza wasn't the greatest and the subs were for kids but the kids had a great time! And so did Tracy beating up the ducks! That will be my memory of the day! That and the condom joke on Kevin.... too bad he is deaf! POOR POOR KEVIN!! We had fun so no matter.
Tyson was watching his big brother play the game and screaming with excitement. He was hilarious to watch.
Thanks Tracy & Kevin for all the fun and the great day! We appreciate it! So did the kids! Can't wait until Kauden is old enough. I have a feeling though the men won't be going!

MARCH BREAK!!!!!
Well March Break has started. It started a day earlier this year. So on Friday we went to Kingston. We didn't spend very much money but we did look around. Darin had to go to work and get some papers signed for his income tax so away we went. At the price of gas you wanna make sure that you get all you want done and that you utilize the time you have. Worked out because we ended up picking up Darin's Mom and taking her to the Dr to have he check-up post op.
Then we went to Costco, old navy, the usual. Dalton was bored. Shopping isn't his thing. He goes but he complains. High light of his day was going to MacDonald's for lunch! He has been bugging to go because he saw the hockey sticks that they have and he really wanted one. So he got one his day could go anyway that it wanted then.
Then back home to have some supper and such. Nothing to exciting just the regular stuff. Then we watched a little TV. He gets to stay up so again he is happy. Don't know what the rest of the break will bring but Daddy I know wants to spend some time with him so I'm sure some fun will be had so keep posted!
Happy Holidays!
