Been long... not updating.... bad blogger!

I am sorry for those of you who have continually check our page and see no updates. I will promise to be less tardy. The kids have been really sick all week. Finally I had had enough and took them both to the clinic last Sunday. Turns out I was right, Tyson did have an ear infection. When that boy is up in the night I know something big is going on with him!
Dalton still had a cough and choke but he wasn't to sick to head over to Uncle Ed & Aunt Tracey's house. They invited him last week and Tracey called Friday to make sure he was still coming..no matter how sick that boy is if he was invited to the Bunnett's no matter which one he is going! She asked what time she should come and get him and he said " What time do you get out of bed?"
So they had lots planned to do. They went to "meet the Robinson's" the movie. And they played...played... played...As I said though Dalton did get up to go to Sunday School the next morning. After we finished at the clinic we went up to Mom's and Dalton ended up staying there the rest if the day and they took him to Burger King before bringing him home. He was heart broken NOT! Better than the lunch he would have gotten at home.
Hopefully they will be feeling better for Easter!

Out to Montana's

Well we went to church this morning and Mom and I had already talked about taking the boys to Montana's so that Dalton could use another free meal ticket for reading. So after church ( that got out really early because pastor Mark was sick) we headed to Montana's and Nanny headed home to get Poppa. We had tons of fun! Poppa and Tyson were playing a game of I drop it you pick it up...

Dalton and Nanny played a game or 20 of tick tack toe on the table. I think that Nanny was winning! Although Dalton I don't think would admit it!

Dalton had chicken fingers this time, Nan had a really nice salad. Poppa tried the Shepherd's pie and I played it safe and had a clubhouse. Everything was really good.

We had a great time together and then we headed home to put Tyson to bed for a nap! Keep the reading up Dalton!

MADE IT!!

Well I made it through the week with no problems, my brain hurts from in taking so much though. I was glad to see it over. I very much enjoyed it but glad it was over. I learned tons and the insight I got was very rewarding.
Darin on the other hand spent the week home with Tyson he on the other hand was so glad the week was ending you cannot imagine. He had to get out of the house on Friday away from the kids and the noise for a while. I just laughed. Thought that was funny. It was a really nice day so he headed out for a ride. I am glad to see that he is enjoying his bike, he has already rode it more than he drove the nova and he has only had the bike 9 months!
my house on the other hand needed lots of TLC after Daddy and Tyson being alone in it all week. What Tyson didn't make a mess of Daddy did! Why is it men can't clean up after themselves? even Dalton was complaining when he got home from school. He was calling Tyson the " wild man".
After today I think SPRING IS HERE!!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!

So we didn't go to church yesterday. Dalton wanted a day off of " doing nothing" before heading back to school so that is just what he got. Hard to have such a busy life of fun at six. Anyway he was all prepared to go back to school this morning. I worked nights last night so I am going to head to bed with Tyson shortly and have a little nap myself!
I am at a learning conference all week this week for three days on basic assurances and shared values for the people I support this week so it should be fun and insightful! Tomorrow is suppose to prove to be a long day so wish me luck!
I am looking forward to it!

Happy St Patties Day!!

Happy St Patties Day! Today is the Tyson's godmother's birthday! We are going over to see her later in the day. I worked nights so I am going to have a rest first. We got her a nice plant at Walmart yesterday and Scott got her a link charm bracelet so I think that maybe we will go and see about getting her a link or two.

So off to the mall we went. Dalton picked her out a couple really nice ones. We got her six because they were only $2.00 each and for every one you bought the other was $1.00 so it was a very good deal. Dalton picked out... A shamrock, a I heart you, a happy birthday. Tyson with help picked out... an angel for godmother, a heart, and I can't remember the last one. I know that they did a great job at picking them out anyway.

So we visited for a bit and gave her her gifts. I can't post the picks because Colleen said "NO".. spoilsport. And of course the kiddies had treats. Scott fed them ice cream. As always, he gave Tyson a cone this time but he ate it first leaving the ice cream dripping everywhere! We laughed.
Colleen loved all her presents. I figured. They love our boys and I am very glad the they have decided to take the role of godparents for us. The kids love them just as much!
So once they finished we headed home for supper and for me to head back to bed. hopefully Daddy is done finishing every body's cars that he was repairing today.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLLEEN!!!

In Addition.........

Funny thing happened when we went to get Dalton on Friday... He started yelling at me as soon as I got out of the van. He said..." Mom Nanny tried to ride my bike and fell right off in the flowerbed!" He was laughing and thought that was hilarious. So did my Dad. Dalton was enjoying riding his bike around the paved driveways at Mom's & Cecil's ( her neighbour).
So we visited for a few minutes while the baby slept in the van. Darin was outside watching Dalton ride his bike but it got a little chilly for him so he went back inside.
Dad and Dalton had a busy morning though. Mom has therapy on Fridays so they all went to MacDonald's for breakfast and then Dad and Dalton got a few chores to do at the plaza. Pick up a few groceries etc. Then Nan came and met them again and they did a little more running around before we came to get him. He had a great time and can't wait until holidays in the summer when he gets to go to the trailer too!

Heading out to the Grandparents house......

So Wednesday was nothing to special we went to Kingston for a quick drive before I headed into work at 3pm. The boys were home with Daddy still so all is good yet. Dalton was excited because Darin bought a remote controlled helicopter. They both have wanted one for quite a while but Darin has done a lot of work in the garage and saved it up. Good thing too. He flew it 20 seconds and crashed it, and now they are waiting for new parts. Darin didn't think that it would be that hard to fly. He was surprised!

Thursday we again didn't do much but, Scott came out to see us. See how things are going. Darin got out the bike Dalton got for Easter last year it was such a nice day and guess what! He has grown about 3 inches because he can ride it with no problems this year. I was upset because his Dad let him take it for a spin with no helmet. No biggie but when you work where I work you don't risk head injuries! It's an American chopper bike and he loves it!

I had to work evenings again and Dalton was going to Nan's so he was getting excited! Poppa & Nan are taking him to Montana's for one of his free meals. Mom said he was quite the character and when they waited almost 40 mins and they called them he said "finally". Mom laughed. He had a great time and they spoiled him because they ended up taking him to Dairy queen too! He was so happy!

He got to ride his bike at Nan's because Scott ended up taking him in and took his bike too! And Mommy packed his helmet!
Friday was an even busier day for Dalton and he got a good laugh and to spend some time with Poppa. For now though it's late and I'm heading to bed....
