Swimming anyone??

Today I thought that I would close my pool. THOUGHT. When I got outside I found that I was missing a ton of water. Then after further investigation, I found that we had a hole in the liner. Not fun. We had no time to wait and so off I went to get the repair kit and Darin threw the pump in the pool. If we waited any longer the liner would rip and then we would need a total new one.
That liner is only two years old. Regardless I was off to get my swim suit on. The pool was 60*. Yeah not fun. Rather nippy in fact.
After freezeing all my 2000 parts and two attempts, I got the leak stopped and we finished closing the pool. I would not recommend it to anyone!!

P.A. Day already!!

Hard to believe that the kids have a PA day already. They just went back to school a few weeks ago. Am I seeing something wrong with this picture? So we decided to meet nanny and Poppa and Jesse at the pirate ship park so the kids could play. It was busy. The kids had a great time and wore themselves out running around. they wanted me to take a few pictures of them being silly. Doing what they do best so..... here they are.....

Tyson has more and more fun every time we go there. As he gets older he finds out more about how things work. This time it was the whale on a spring. He thought that was the greatest thing ever once he figured out how to rock himself back and forth. He has the baby one at home that plays music. So he though this one was great!

Tyson's first ride in the dump truck

Today was a weird day, I didn't have a babysitter and we had a staff meeting that wasn't scheduled all that long ago. So Tyson had to go to work with Dady for a couple of runs. About and hour or so. He had a great time he though going in the dump truck was the greatest thing ever!
He sat right up there. I though that he weould have a nap because he was tired but Darin said he was bright eyed and bushy tailed the entire time. He was so curious Darin said and happy to see the loaders which to him were "tractors", and squeeled in delight when they loaded them up. They were delivering to the air base and then Ty saw the air bus then all he said was "plane".
All his favorite things in one day how will we ever top that????

Sleeping beauties

I work 3- 11pm a lot it works out good for our family. I don't really like that shift but we do what we can. that way we don't need a sitter all that much. Tyson can still go to Nanny's when he needs to. This way they have some consistency!

Well tonight, Darin had the air conditioner on in our room and apparently the two boys though that it was too hot in their room so I came home to this on my bedroom floor! Both of them out cold! Don't they look comfy??

Bus buddy & Grade Two!

Today was the first day of school here. This is our next door neighbour Tanner. Dalton is his bus buddy. Dalton was so excited because he went from needing a bus buddy a few years ago to being a bus buddy this year. Means he is getting bigger and getting responsibilities! yay!

At Dalton's school, because there are so many kids in primary classes, I dunno. They gather all the kids in the gym and call out their names teacher by teacher then get taken to their prospective classes.

Dalton sat right down with Keaton in the gym this morning and said "I hope we are in the same class this year Keat!" He really missed Keaton last year. So when Ms. Koekman was finished reading off her list and Keaton was still sitting beside his they both looked at each other and said "YES"! Then Dalton looked at me and said and no Ms. Koekman. I went to school with Julie and she is really strict! So Dalton wasn't all that fond of her.
So Mrs. Rickaman called both their names and they were very happy about it. I was just happy because Dalton wasn't in the split 1/2 again. Solid grade 2 class. So off they headed to their class what they didn't know was that they were headed out to the portable. I haven't decided whether that is good or not I'll tell you on how sick Dalton gets this winter.
So here's to a good year and happy that my boy is getting back with his friends so he can enjoy school! I'm glad his friends mean that much to him!
