MADE IT!!

Well I made it through the week with no problems, my brain hurts from in taking so much though. I was glad to see it over. I very much enjoyed it but glad it was over. I learned tons and the insight I got was very rewarding.
Darin on the other hand spent the week home with Tyson he on the other hand was so glad the week was ending you cannot imagine. He had to get out of the house on Friday away from the kids and the noise for a while. I just laughed. Thought that was funny. It was a really nice day so he headed out for a ride. I am glad to see that he is enjoying his bike, he has already rode it more than he drove the nova and he has only had the bike 9 months!
my house on the other hand needed lots of TLC after Daddy and Tyson being alone in it all week. What Tyson didn't make a mess of Daddy did! Why is it men can't clean up after themselves? even Dalton was complaining when he got home from school. He was calling Tyson the " wild man".
After today I think SPRING IS HERE!!

BACK TO SCHOOL!!!!

So we didn't go to church yesterday. Dalton wanted a day off of " doing nothing" before heading back to school so that is just what he got. Hard to have such a busy life of fun at six. Anyway he was all prepared to go back to school this morning. I worked nights last night so I am going to head to bed with Tyson shortly and have a little nap myself!
I am at a learning conference all week this week for three days on basic assurances and shared values for the people I support this week so it should be fun and insightful! Tomorrow is suppose to prove to be a long day so wish me luck!
I am looking forward to it!

Happy St Patties Day!!

Happy St Patties Day! Today is the Tyson's godmother's birthday! We are going over to see her later in the day. I worked nights so I am going to have a rest first. We got her a nice plant at Walmart yesterday and Scott got her a link charm bracelet so I think that maybe we will go and see about getting her a link or two.

So off to the mall we went. Dalton picked her out a couple really nice ones. We got her six because they were only $2.00 each and for every one you bought the other was $1.00 so it was a very good deal. Dalton picked out... A shamrock, a I heart you, a happy birthday. Tyson with help picked out... an angel for godmother, a heart, and I can't remember the last one. I know that they did a great job at picking them out anyway.

So we visited for a bit and gave her her gifts. I can't post the picks because Colleen said "NO".. spoilsport. And of course the kiddies had treats. Scott fed them ice cream. As always, he gave Tyson a cone this time but he ate it first leaving the ice cream dripping everywhere! We laughed.
Colleen loved all her presents. I figured. They love our boys and I am very glad the they have decided to take the role of godparents for us. The kids love them just as much!
So once they finished we headed home for supper and for me to head back to bed. hopefully Daddy is done finishing every body's cars that he was repairing today.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY COLLEEN!!!

In Addition.........

Funny thing happened when we went to get Dalton on Friday... He started yelling at me as soon as I got out of the van. He said..." Mom Nanny tried to ride my bike and fell right off in the flowerbed!" He was laughing and thought that was hilarious. So did my Dad. Dalton was enjoying riding his bike around the paved driveways at Mom's & Cecil's ( her neighbour).
So we visited for a few minutes while the baby slept in the van. Darin was outside watching Dalton ride his bike but it got a little chilly for him so he went back inside.
Dad and Dalton had a busy morning though. Mom has therapy on Fridays so they all went to MacDonald's for breakfast and then Dad and Dalton got a few chores to do at the plaza. Pick up a few groceries etc. Then Nan came and met them again and they did a little more running around before we came to get him. He had a great time and can't wait until holidays in the summer when he gets to go to the trailer too!

Heading out to the Grandparents house......

So Wednesday was nothing to special we went to Kingston for a quick drive before I headed into work at 3pm. The boys were home with Daddy still so all is good yet. Dalton was excited because Darin bought a remote controlled helicopter. They both have wanted one for quite a while but Darin has done a lot of work in the garage and saved it up. Good thing too. He flew it 20 seconds and crashed it, and now they are waiting for new parts. Darin didn't think that it would be that hard to fly. He was surprised!

Thursday we again didn't do much but, Scott came out to see us. See how things are going. Darin got out the bike Dalton got for Easter last year it was such a nice day and guess what! He has grown about 3 inches because he can ride it with no problems this year. I was upset because his Dad let him take it for a spin with no helmet. No biggie but when you work where I work you don't risk head injuries! It's an American chopper bike and he loves it!

I had to work evenings again and Dalton was going to Nan's so he was getting excited! Poppa & Nan are taking him to Montana's for one of his free meals. Mom said he was quite the character and when they waited almost 40 mins and they called them he said "finally". Mom laughed. He had a great time and they spoiled him because they ended up taking him to Dairy queen too! He was so happy!

He got to ride his bike at Nan's because Scott ended up taking him in and took his bike too! And Mommy packed his helmet!
Friday was an even busier day for Dalton and he got a good laugh and to spend some time with Poppa. For now though it's late and I'm heading to bed....

Bowlin..bowlin..bowlin..keep that ball a rollin....

So Tuesday we went bowling. Dalton has been a bugging to go since Nick's ( his buddy) birthday party in December. So we went on Tuesday afternoon. Johnathan and Angela went with us. They are going away tomorrow but Dalton wanted to spend sometime with John before they went.

Johnathan brought two of his many girlfriends with him to. Then they went to the mall for a couple of hours to wander around. We had other errands and stuff so we said "chow". And away we went. ReAnna won the game, Dalton got third! 98. Woo hoo!

I'm not really sure what the rest of the week will bring but I know I work on Wed & Thurs and so it won't be much! All these little activities start to add up after a bit! My kiddies are worth it though they are only small once.

In the pictures you can see that Tyson is so excited for his brother and cheered him on. Then the cheezies got his attention and then bowling wasn't so interesting.

Today is my big brother's 39th birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY EDWARD!! I hope your enjoying your holiday with your kids.

Monday, monday......

Check out the concentration level that Dalton is trying to maintain!

Well we decided that we were going to take the boys and do something today. It was a beautiful day and they are going stirrrr crazy! So we had a mental melt and took them to Toronto shopping and to Chucky Cheese! We conned the neighbours into coming for the fun. We all had a really great day. Spent too much money and drank too much coffee but had a great day none the less!
The pizza wasn't the greatest and the subs were for kids but the kids had a great time! And so did Tracy beating up the ducks! That will be my memory of the day! That and the condom joke on Kevin.... too bad he is deaf! POOR POOR KEVIN!! We had fun so no matter.
Tyson was watching his big brother play the game and screaming with excitement. He was hilarious to watch.
Thanks Tracy & Kevin for all the fun and the great day! We appreciate it! So did the kids! Can't wait until Kauden is old enough. I have a feeling though the men won't be going!

The rink is Kaplut!!

The weekend is here and what a beautiful weekend it was. The boys got a little fresh air but..... the back yard is so mucky that it is impossible to play back there right now. Even though I'm sure that they would have fun!
We didn't do much. We just hung around Saturday, and had the neighbours out to play cards. I had to work. And Sunday we just went out to Walmart, Mom's and the liquidation place to look around. Then home so I could go to work!
Darin went over to check the rink. it is pretty much toast! All the warmer weather has pretty much sabotaged it! We were hoping to get the march break out of it so Dalton had something to do but that apparently isn't going to happen. I guess I'll have to find out when the Timmy's free skating is for the week.

MARCH BREAK!!!!!

Well March Break has started. It started a day earlier this year. So on Friday we went to Kingston. We didn't spend very much money but we did look around. Darin had to go to work and get some papers signed for his income tax so away we went. At the price of gas you wanna make sure that you get all you want done and that you utilize the time you have. Worked out because we ended up picking up Darin's Mom and taking her to the Dr to have he check-up post op.
Then we went to Costco, old navy, the usual. Dalton was bored. Shopping isn't his thing. He goes but he complains. High light of his day was going to MacDonald's for lunch! He has been bugging to go because he saw the hockey sticks that they have and he really wanted one. So he got one his day could go anyway that it wanted then.
Then back home to have some supper and such. Nothing to exciting just the regular stuff. Then we watched a little TV. He gets to stay up so again he is happy. Don't know what the rest of the break will bring but Daddy I know wants to spend some time with him so I'm sure some fun will be had so keep posted!
Happy Holidays!

MOM'S AT WORK............

IS IT COLD ENOUGH OUT TODAY?? - 40 With the windchill. We made sure that Dalton was well dressed for his day today. Even though the kids will only be allowed outside for a few minutes. Even the bus driver said to stay inside until she got here she didn't want all the small kids standing out in that chill!! She laughed and said, I just pick up the kids.... not literally!_

Tyson isn't feeling well. I have been on evenings for the past two weeks... no midnights for another week Yay! And this weekend off. Although Darin has been on the kick of getting the house packed up for the big tear down. Sometimes I swear that he would have us moved out today and tear down the house a piece at a time. I know it would save us some money but at the same time it wouldn't be very fair to the kids. Three months in the garage is going to be enough I think. Any longer than that and I think we will be ready to kill each other especially if the weather isn't the greatest and it ends up being longer. I just hope all goes well this year and it all actually happens. It will be such a relief!

On the upside though we got a notice yesterday that after all the bitching and letter writing and phone calls etc that they re-evaluated our house FINALLY!! it was appraised at $125 000.00 and if you had ever seen my house you know it was worth no where near that! And of course that is what you property taxes are based at when we moved in they were $1000.00 a year and since we have amalgamated with Belleville they were $1660.00 last year! I was very surprised that they actually did it! One year anyway. I'm sure with building the new house that they will catch us really quick again!

Dalton loves to call me at work when he gets home from school. Last night he called to tell me that I needed to tell Nan...." Now I have 4 meals at Montana's that I have to collect....I had better soon get there so I can go with her and Poppa.. or I will never collect them all!" He gets a free meal at Montana's when he accomplishes his reading goals for the month. He also wanted Nan to know that he got another perfect spelling test! And the words are getting harder now. This week they were.. black, eight, snack, blank, sack, back, thank, sank, bank. Last week he got one wrong.

he was a little upset about not going to Karate last night. I think he was more upset about telling his friends about not going to Karate than actually not going. After March break he'll return but I am going to talk to sensai about what happened!

Darin called me at work last night to tell me that the little lad was up to no good and wasn't feeling well. He didn't eat much supper and so he was helping Dalton with something ( a shower I think). He didn't know where Tyson was.....he found him on the floor in front of the fridge. Drinking yogurt and eating it with his hands! He loves yogurt! he was trying to get it out and Darin said he had it everywhere, in his hair all over his clothes everything! I wish I had have been home to see it. I thought I would pee my pants when he told me! After Darin got him all washed up again he crawled up on Darin and fell asleep. Darin has a fit when I post his picture so I just posted this one. Dalton took a really cute one when he fell asleep on Darin.

He was still on the couch when I got home from work. I got him changed and gave him some Tylenol and he slept thru the night he is feeling better this morning but I think he is getting a cold. The first picture kinda tells ya how well he is today. Mom's home and that makes a big difference with him. He is definitely Mommas boy! But Daddy does in a pinch!

Friday nite fun........

Well Friday night I was off! Woo Ho! After the ice storm that we had, I was glad to be off! I went as far as to get the mail and milk. And I waited until late afternoon to do that. I made Parmesan chicken and Angela and Johnathan came out for supper. After they were here Johnathan decided that he was going to stay the night.

So we had a good visit and then Ang went home. John and the boys played. It is funny because the two boys follow John around like lost sheep. They love him. He dyed his hair black with one of his friends. I said it was OK but he was much more handsome when it was brown. my opinion doesn't count though, just the teenage girls. I laughed normal boy I guess! Later,They were fooling around with John's hat on Tyson and John wanted me to post a picture so here they are.

Darin's ready...........

Darin is ready to go back to work. Two days home alone with Tyson was enough to send him over the edge to head back to work. The house is a disaster when I get home from work and Darin is on the couch warn out from chasing him.
So I make the mistake to ask...." What did you get done today?"...... If you know Darin you know what the answer was. He said that he was ready to go back to work. It was less work the being after Tyson all day. (But by the looks of the house I wouldn't say he chased him too much) Maybe it's a man thing. I dunno.

On another note though.... Mr Dalton got in two brawls yesterday at school. I dunno what is up with that but he wasn't happy with the results since Dad got the note and phone call. He was honest about it and gave Darin the note before he knew but I guess he figured better tell him than wait. So he is grounded again and I'm not sure that Karate isn't gone too...... ohhhhhh.....

We'll see....
