They have arrived........

Well..... I didn't think that I would have much to post about but..... When I looked out my window Tuesday morning I saw a motor home coming towards my house. It looked like my Grandparents but I thought "no way it couldn't be". It is getting too late in the month for them. ( Granny can't stand the heat not humidity Ontario has) they usually come around Easter...but apparently not this year!
Well it was them! Dalton looked out the front door and said "What the ?", up until two years ago when we went to Winnipeg to visit them, he thought that my Grandparents lived in the motor home. He was small and couldn't comprehend it was just for travel...

)

So anyway, I was quickly on the phone and took some time off work. Not all the time, just some time. They usually go and visit their other friends and family when I'm working. They have lots.

Granny has never seen the baby before so she was excited to meet him. She saw me pregnant with him at 9 months but that was it! Pictures of course and here but that is it. She said he was beautiful and looks a lot like me. I dunno I think he looks more like my brother and nephew.

This is my Granny. She is 80. Looking good eh? She is going to kill me if she sees the picture I posted. This was this morning when I first got her up. My Granny is so funny.... brace yourselves cause your going to laugh!

On Tuesday she asked if we could go to Walmart. Me not want to go shopping I thought HA! So innocently I said "sure". So we get to Walmart and I ask what she needs and she says underwear. She doesn't get much of a chance to shop so she figured she hadn't gotten any in so long soo..... I said what kind do you like and sh said I don't know. So I said well what are you wearing now and she said.... brace yourself... your Poppa's! I laughed until I thought I would pee my pants.

Well we got her 10 new pairs of underwear, 2 new bras, 3 new shirts and a new coat by the time we were done. So she is good to go and Poppa is getting his underwear back! The next morning I asked her how they fit and her reply was... Quite good I forgot how nice woman's underwear fit! "Only my Granny!"

Anyway, I thought I would post a picture of the flowers I got for her. Early Mother's day. They were so beautiful. They only cost $6.00.

So over the next few weeks I will be busy but I will be sure to make time to post a bit or two. So keep tuned in you never know what is going to happen next around here!

A Fun Filled, Eventful and Joyous Day!!

It was a very nice day. Gorgeous. The weather was sunny, very little humidity, it was 20*, and not one bit muggy. I wish all our summer days could be so nice.
Today we had a great day! Lots of fresh air and exercise! First thing this morning we got up when Daddy got ready to leave for the Marlbank poker run. For those of you that don't know it is a four wheeler run where there are several stops. You pick up a chip at each drop and at the end you turn in your chips for a cards and that is your hand in a game of poker. There is lots of prises for the winners so it will be interesting to see if Darin comes home with anything. Usually I go too but this year I decided that I would stay home with the kids and Darin could go with his buddies. Just as well we had a great day!

After Daddy left we all got ready. We had planned to see Auntie Ethel today. She is a very special friend of mine and the kids just love her. Since I returned to work last August I haven't had a lot of time to spend with her so today was the perfect day! Anyway, we got already to go and she arrived about 9:00am. We went to Denny's for breakfast. Both of Ethel's kids work there. First out came Kenny to say hello, then shortly after Amanda. I remember when Ethel's kids were the same size as mine! Uggg!

We had breckie and a good visit. Dalton had Alien pancakes. His favorite no matter at home or out! He's a cheap date! He was chewing on the plate in the picture! Tyson just shared off of every one's plate except for the chocolate milk. That he has no problem devouring!

After breakfast we decided to go to the pirate ship park for the kids to play. We laughed. Ethel said she needed a glucose pump just to keep up with Tyson! That boy ran all over, and over, and over. Not the least bit interested in anything but running around and under the boat!

Dalton played and looked for a Friend as always. They had a ball.

Tyson wasn't much into riding with Dalton!

See you couldn't hold him down!!!

Afterwards we decided it was off to Reid's Dairy for an ice cream cone. It was yummy!

Tyson shared Mommy's!

We then went over to Toy's "R" Us to look around at what's new. We just looked much to Dalton's unhappiness. He didn't say it, ( he knows better) but he was thinking it!
We headed home then. John just got dropped off by his Dad so we had to get home before Angela had a cow. Go figure. Hmmm fourteen year old boy at home alone in the country what do you think he is doing..... of course... the Internet. There isn't much else that he would get into alone.
The boys ( Dalton and John) had some work to do. Each paying then some cash for their pockets. John had to move around some insulation for Darin and Dalton had to shine the rims on Daddy's truck! We got some really hot pictures of John in some of his Uncles old clothes because he forgot his own. John make sure your girlfirend sees these pics your real sexy! he wasn't impressed about me taking his picture but Dalton and I were dying laughing.

We especially liked the pose.....

I don't think he did too bad a job for a six year old! I'm sure Dad will be impressed!

As all kids we went to Walmart after because I had to get a few things. John's lasted about 15 minutes and he bought a CD. Dalton tried to spend it but he just couldn't find anything to buy because he didn't have enough. Watch out Nan... he is coming for the can. ( He has a secret stash at Nan's house!)
We came home made some tacos, kids had a bath, played a little game cube, and watched "Happy Feet" and went to bed. Both of my kids were tired out! Me too but I am just going to lay on the couch until Darin calls to come and pick him up!

This is a picture of my dog Johnathan took....isn't he a beautiful dog... I love him.... Awwww

Great day! Thanks Ethel! Love ya!

Didn't get a picture.....

I'm sorry my carmera is in my van. It has the picture of the kittens on it and the girls at work wanted a peek at them.
Dalton was a happy fella this morning. It was the first nice day in about two weeks. He has been asking his Dad to take him on the bike to school so all his friends could see him. Pretty soon Daddy will be going back to work...finally and he won't get a chance to do that. So he got out the bike this morning. Dalton almost broke his face he was smiling so big.
When Dad dropped him off in the bus circle all of Dalton's friends crouded around to look at the bike and ask him questions. He couldn't have been much prouder than that. "Sweet" is the only thing he said!

AND THE FINAL COUNT IS.....

Well the final count for kittens was six! Here are a few pics that I took this morning for the post. Actually I hate to say it but they are very cute! Momma kitty "Whiskers" is very protective but she will let us touch and pet them.

Dalton was still super excited this am. He had to check them several times before school.he is going to tell them all about it on Wednesday at show and tell.... " yeah right, like he could possibly keep it to himself that long!"

Calling all homes for the new kitties.... give me a ring! Only two maybe three have been spoken for!

Jolene...want another one?? haha!

SO EXCITED ABOUT THE NEW ADDITIONS!!!

Dalton is so excited about the new kittens it's crazy. He called me at work tonight everytime his cat had another one...... anybody want one ..let me know. ASAP PLEASE!! hahaha!

He called Nanny and left her a message on her machine but all Mom could make out of it was "six" she said he was so excited and talked so fast she couldn't understand anything else!

These pictures are the ones that Darin took while she was having them. I will have to take better ones tommorrow. They are very cute. I just got home from work and checked them out. Did I mention that I am allergic to cats and the only reason we have one is because Dalton loves them??? Oh the sacrifice. Now the count down is on 5 weeks 6 days..... until they go away to other people's homes!!

I'm sure that is all he will talk about at school tommorrow .... how he saw his cat have kittens. I'm sure that the only reason the cat let them watch and stay so close was for fear that our German Shephard would eat them! Not so lucky. Don't get me wrong I like the cat...just not seven in one house!

So if you want one please let me know.

Still a sick boy....

Well I have been on 3 - 11pm all last week and it isn't hard to tell that Tyson still wasn't feeling well. He had a great week and got to spend some time at nan's early in the week. That made him happy because every time we pulled into their house he called out "Nanny". That makes me feel good because unfortunately he isn't going to have the same relationship as the other grand kids because he isn't being babysat by her as much. It's okay though we make sure he gets there when Nan can handle it. Circumstances with my Dad, her body, and the fact that he is busier than them all are contributing factors to it all. Not to mention the location in which we live doesn't work out so well for Dalton.

Anyway, I came home on Wednesday night to find him and Daddy like this on the couch. I'm not sure who was holding who. Daddy always works in a pinch when Mommy isn't available. You can bet I'll be scrapping this picture!!

Easter.....

Well here is Easter egg search at the Bunnett's house. We video taped the event at home this morning and so I don't have any pictures. Daddy was taping and I was helping Tyson search before Dalton found them all. They were in piles of two but with them it really didn't matter once Tyson saw them he thought you were to eat them as you went!
So like I said we went to Mom & Dad's for Easter dinner. We had too much as always and we were all stuffed again... as always. My Mom is a good cook! The kids got spoiled. Dalton got a new coat and a small monster truck that he collects, from Nan & Poppa. Tyson got a new wet suit for the pool. Perfect fit Nan! He will enjoy the pool more this year than last year...if that is possible. And tons of eggs and chocolate!
Uncle Ed & Auntie Tracey spoiled them. Tyson got a really cool pair of pajama's and a neat set of alltrain mega blocks trucks, and a small bunny. Dalton got three movies ( monster trucks & Happy feet), and a ninja turtles toy, and a small bunny. I have to wonder was it Christmas or Easter?

Tyson playing with the baskets waiting for the other kids to get prepared to help search!

This is always the most painful picture of the day! Trying to get all four kids to sit together and smile for longer than one second. Getting them all to even sit together is the first challenge!

THE HUNT IS ON!!

Jesse and Dalton trying to find all the eggs before Nanny and Tyson come along. Funny part was they still beat them because Jess and Dalton ran past most of the piles!!

Supper time! Bring on the viddles people! I am on a sugar rush and need real food!!! AUGGGGG!!!
Hope everyone had a happy Easter!

Easter comes early....

How can you not love that face?? On Good Friday we decided that we would give Tyson his Easter present. With collecting eggs and stuff we figured that the day might be a little overwhelming. Not to mention that with dinner at Mom's and more stuff there it was going to be a big day for him this year.

He had seen the car a few weeks ago in our spare room and absolutely freaked out trying to get at it. He thought he was funny every time he tried to get upstairs to that room to get in there before us. Could that boy move when he wants to!
Dalton is looking forward to having a holiday off school already. Seems like yesterday they just finished march break!
Have a great Easter everyone!

REPORT CARD!!!

So I have to use Dalton's favorite colour for this post! He got his report card. I am happy to say that he get all A's & B's except for gym he got a C! How do you fail gym? I think that the problem is his listening skills. He gets so excited about what is happening he forgets all about what he is suppose to be doing.
The comments throughout the whole report card were good. Except the listening comments. I suppose that goes with being small yet. I was happy with his report card. I know he tries and i also know he sits with some of his friends at the same table so i guess I really can't ask for anymore!
I did ask that he pay more attention is gym though. Don't want to spend another year in grade one because he can't run or something silly like that!
Call me a proud Momma!

Been long... not updating.... bad blogger!

I am sorry for those of you who have continually check our page and see no updates. I will promise to be less tardy. The kids have been really sick all week. Finally I had had enough and took them both to the clinic last Sunday. Turns out I was right, Tyson did have an ear infection. When that boy is up in the night I know something big is going on with him!
Dalton still had a cough and choke but he wasn't to sick to head over to Uncle Ed & Aunt Tracey's house. They invited him last week and Tracey called Friday to make sure he was still coming..no matter how sick that boy is if he was invited to the Bunnett's no matter which one he is going! She asked what time she should come and get him and he said " What time do you get out of bed?"
So they had lots planned to do. They went to "meet the Robinson's" the movie. And they played...played... played...As I said though Dalton did get up to go to Sunday School the next morning. After we finished at the clinic we went up to Mom's and Dalton ended up staying there the rest if the day and they took him to Burger King before bringing him home. He was heart broken NOT! Better than the lunch he would have gotten at home.
Hopefully they will be feeling better for Easter!

Out to Montana's

Well we went to church this morning and Mom and I had already talked about taking the boys to Montana's so that Dalton could use another free meal ticket for reading. So after church ( that got out really early because pastor Mark was sick) we headed to Montana's and Nanny headed home to get Poppa. We had tons of fun! Poppa and Tyson were playing a game of I drop it you pick it up...

Dalton and Nanny played a game or 20 of tick tack toe on the table. I think that Nanny was winning! Although Dalton I don't think would admit it!

Dalton had chicken fingers this time, Nan had a really nice salad. Poppa tried the Shepherd's pie and I played it safe and had a clubhouse. Everything was really good.

We had a great time together and then we headed home to put Tyson to bed for a nap! Keep the reading up Dalton!
