And The Sauga Continues.....

CAN YOU GUESS THE PROBLEM YET???

This picture?? Is the pumping station I dunno why it is so blurry?

To anyone who has ever had kids... let me rephrase that... To anyone who has ever had boys... What would we do without them. I think that girls are much less destructive, curious, ambitious, mischievous and I could go on..

Everyone hold on to you Attends! Well last Friday we got a new toilet and returned the one we borrowed from Terry & Steph.( Thank You so much by the way). And got the new one working all honky Dorey.

UNTIL......... last night.

The toilet started flushing very slow and the water didn't want to go down. Then the sink in the bathroom started to gurgle.... hmm.. We have been watching him and not letting him in the bathroom.. keeping him clear of the toilet what could possibly be wrong now? The last time this sort of thing happened it was the pump. We have a septic system that requires a pumping station. That is what happens when you live in a flood plain. Anyway, so Darin figures right off the bat that is the problem. Probably is.. that is unless you have Tyson at your house!

So Darin calls Randy to come and dig it out in the morning and calls Mumby's to come and pump out the tank and we'll go from there. Randy gets here and hooks up the pump direct and it is working. Oh oh! So what is the problem now? So Randy starts digging with the back hoe and accidentally catches the pipe coming from the house. Oh God! Oh well no biggie but what do we find in the pipe? What has been blocking everything coming from the house? A WASHCLOTH!!!! Nothing has been able to come from the house properly causing it to get backed up! How and when Tyson got a washcloth down the toilet I dunno..OH THAT BOY!! But there it was all wet and gooey! Well anyway the dig up the pumping station to check the pump and guess what.... That pipe gets caught in the back hoe too!!

Mumby's came and sucked out the tank! $250.00! If you have to get your tank pumped do it in the summer they are allowed to dump it in the fields. In the winter they have to take it to Belleville to the dumping station and pay for it. The new parts & pipes $50.00 . Randy coming with the backhoe $100.00. The new toilet last week $45.00....... Having a busy 16 month old that you can't tie down.... PRICELESS! What a visa commercial this would make. Hmm maybe we could recover some of the money.......
Tell me these pictures aren't going in his scrapbook for memory sake! With the label DEMON BOY!!
So when your all done laughing and giggling be sure to post a comment...
You can be sure the next thing purchased around this house will be a toilet lock and a baby gate to keep him out of the bathroom!!
So until next post happy flushing to all!

  1. Okay....I had to laugh...so sorry! It's only because I have all these boys and have had many things shoved down my toilet that don't belong down there and once we did have to dig up our front yard to fix the problem. Just a heads up, but boys don't get any easier the bigger they get. :o)
Thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate your kind supportive words.
