The Final Hoorah!

Tonight we went to Bev & Angela's house for the final Hoorah for Christmas. Johnathan just got home Saturday and so we couldn't have the day without him. So we went in for a nice supper. (Good since Angie cooked.... note the sarcasm...lol) No, it was good. We almost hated kicking her out of bed to cook it. And the kids got to get their presents.

John just got money which is normal for most teenage kiddies. That way he can get whatever he wanted or just have some money in his pocket. Either way no matter. His birthday is in a couple of weeks so I think Darin wanted to get him a movie card. That way he would have a night out with money and a free movie pass.

Dalton got an i-pup. He only asked Bev & Angie for it. Not really sure why but he did. On the way home he said " I knew Auntie Bev would get me an i-dog", I in return said "How did you know?". And he said "Cause I'm her boy". And got that cute little wink and thumbs up look in his eye. As he squinted up his face.

He also got a collectible monster truck from Kellogg's. Fruit Loops to be exact. He put it in his cabinet when he got home. We didn't get home until 8:30pm or so and he was upset because he wouldn't be able to play with his pup. So I encouraged him to get ready for bed and we'd see what happened. Well he never got ready so fast in his life. He couldn't wait to see the pup dance to music. So I let him stay up until 9pm. He laid up there listening to the All American Rejects ( Move Along) and KT Tinstall( Black Horse and a Cherry Tree). Those are his favorites for this week. Usually it's Paul Brant (Convoy) and Rascal Flatts ( Life is a highway). over and Over we listen to them.

Tyson lit up when he saw the present, he knew exactly what to do and needed no encouragement today to get her done. He got a little musical phone that plays diddies.. and songs and the alphabet and stuff. Phones are his favorite thing to play with. He is his Daddies boy. It's actually really cool this screen on it lights up with letters and numbers and when music plays it makes all kinds of shapes and faces. Neat.

Well today has been a long day. Tyson was up until 3:30am, and today Dalton went on a field trip to the sports center skating with the 1-2-3's from his school. He had a great time he always does when he goes skating with his class. That little Keaton is quite a skater. And well Nick we laughed because he would just get going and then slide himself down onto the ice.

Adults.. we spend our time skating trying not to fall....Kids... see how fast they can get going so they can fall down and slide. At what point did we grow up? lol. We had fun and Tyson went with Nanny, had a visit and some lunch. Gotta love nan Dalton said.
